The “For the Culture” event will be held in the Benes Rooms on Feb. 9, 2023, from 7-9 p.m. This event will showcase hip-hop history as well as explore the elements of hip-hop: emceeing, deejaying, breakin’, graffiti, beatboxing, and knowledge. Those who attend will get the chance to be able to participate in activities in order to learn about the following: emceeing, turntables, fundamental breakdancing skills, graffiti, and the connection between chess and hip-hop. Take a chance to write this in your planner/calendar to remember that this event is happening at the beginning of next semester.
