Starting today, Sept. 19, the Department of Public Safety’s Safe Ride Program will begin service, transporting you to and from campus locations, including remote parking lots and residential and academic buildings. Though not fully staffed yet, we will offer this service as often as possible. The Safe Ride Tracker function of the CampusShield Safety (Apple, Android) application will provide real-time location of the Safe Ride vans; however, the tracker is not yet available for use. We will begin using it ASAP and will send an announcement to the community when it is ready.
For now, riders will need to wait for the Safe Ride Program van at the shuttle stops (see Safe Ride routes at https://bit.ly/3QOE7AZ). Please note: Public Safety staff will not be available to answer questions about the location of the shuttle.
