We are hiring two workers. The position is for Saturdays 11:30-5:30. We are hoping to hire soon to train you for a lead position for the next academic year. The training period will be a few shifts from now until the end of the semester. You will be hired at minimum wage of $9.30 for the remainder of this semester. The lead position will pay $11 in the fall once trained.
This position is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain practical leadership experience while continuing to develop their decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills. Since the Circulation Desk is the first point of contact for all library users, lead student workers must demonstrate an excellent public service attitude.
Even though the position is for Saturdays 11:30-5:30, you will need to be available on the weekends, Fridays 4-5:30 and Sundays 11:30-4 in case the other lead students are out. The leads work with each other to make sure the shifts are filled. PLEASE APPLY FOR THIS POSITION ON HANDSHAKE.
