March 28 @ 5 PM – Transgender Week of Visibility Keynote

Kick off International Transgender Week of Visibility with a keynote delivered by Councilwoman Rosemary Ketchum. Ketchum is a Council member representing Wheeling City’s 3rd Ward. She advocates for a range of issues including LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, affordable housing, homelessness, and governmental transparency. She is West Virginia’s first openly transgender elected official and has helped in paving the way for many transgender and LGBTQ+ elected officials in the United States to have equitable representation in government. This is a great opportunity to meet an elected official with an LGBTQ+ perspective!

The Keynote will be TODAY, Monday, March 28 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM in Hamilton-Williams Campus Center in Benes Rooms B.
