Ohio Wesleyan and the Delaware County Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee invite you to take part in today’s virtual event to remember King and celebrate his legacy.
- 11 a.m. Jan. 17 – The 29th Annual MLK Celebration honoring the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and exploring the theme “Why We Can’t Wait” in the journey toward justice. The program will debut on OWU’s Facebook page at 11 a.m. and be posted there and on YouTube afterward. The event will include TED Talk-style presentations featuring Dr. Nicole Jackson of Bowling Green State University, Tamika Vinson-Reid of the Delaware African American Heritage Council, and Dr. Charles Montgomery, teaching pastor at Vineyard Columbus.
