State-required testing and inspections for campus fire alarms and kitchen hood fire suppression systems will take place in December 2021 and January 2022.
Testing times will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. See below for buildings affected. The alarm visuals and strobe horns/bells will be activated as noted. Occupants are not required to vacate buildings during tests. All dates listed below are approximate.
Fire Alarm Tests and Inspections with Activation:
- Dec. 17, Friday – Bashford Hall.
- Dec. 20, Monday – Hayes Hall.
- Dec. 21, Tuesday – Smith East.
- Dec. 22, Wednesday – Smith West.
- Dec. 23, Thursday – Stuyvesant Hall.
- Dec. 24, Friday – Bradford Milligan Hall.
- Dec. 27, Monday – Complete inspections as needed.
Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression System Tests and Inspections with Fire Alarm Activation:
- Jan. 5, Wednesday – Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Haycock Hall/3D Arts, and Stuyvesant Hall.
- Jan. 6, Thursday – 9,10, 20, and 35 Williams Drive and Smith Hall.
- Jan. 7, Friday – Complete inspections as needed.
