OWU has previously participated in the Google for Education Pilot Program and we have been invited to join it more broadly.
The goal of the program is to provide K12 and Higher Ed institutions early access to products and features across various Google tools to help inform the future of their products. Academic partners play an important role in their development cycle by providing feedback that directly shapes and improves their tools.
Google is looking for access to educators across different institutions, grade levels, and areas of expertise that are passionate about piloting new features and willing to share their stories, best practices, and feedback.
The pilot program offers us a unique opportunity to directly shape and improve Google’s tools. The feedback we provide will help them identify bugs, fix user issues, and enable product teams to build better products.
Educators will have the ability to test a variety of Google services such as Google Classroom, Docs, Forms, and many more!
If you’re interested, please let David Soliday know.
As pilots become available that fit our institution’s profile, Google will reach out to him with details of the pilot. Only he will receive notifications about upcoming pilot opportunities and be able to invite educators at OWU to participate.
