Oct. 28 @ 1am – Network Outage Scheduled

Additional work is required to implement our new campus firewalls. A network outage has been scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 28, beginning at 1 am. The network will be unavailable for up to four hours while the equipment is installed and tested. Clients using Cisco Anyconnect for VPN services will need to download new VPN software starting on Thursday morning. Instructions for connecting to the new VPN will be added to the following page once the system is ready: https://helpdesk.owu.edu/networking/other-networking-information/vpn/

We are also planning an outage over Thanksgiving break, tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 1 am. More information on this cutover of the core switches will be provided closer to this date.
