Professors in a Dunk Tank?

Come to the 2021 Olentangy River Festival from 1-5 p.m. Sept. 11 and check out who from OWU is in the Department of Environment and Sustainability’s dunk tank!

The fundraiser will support the department’s new Outdoor Club and “OWU Outside” effort that includes outdoor events, regional trips, and more.

Other OWU and community groups also will have tables at the river festival to share information about their efforts and opportunities. Those groups include the Citizens Climate Lobby, Service Engagement and Leadership (SEAL) House, and Tree House.

The festival also will feature food trucks, water activities, and raffles for items including a kayak, two rounds of golf, a compost tumbler, rain barrels, a free night of camping, and more.

The dunk tank, which will feature OWU and City of Delaware targets, is courtesy of E&H Ace Hardware, 800 W. Central Ave.

The 2021 Olentangy River Festival will be held at the city’s Mingo Park, 500 E. Lincoln Ave., located about a mile northeast of campus.

Come join your Ohio Wesleyan friends and colleagues at this once-a-year event!
