Today @ Noon – Great Decisions Discussion ‘India and Pakistan: Is Peace Possible?’

The Great Decisions Series, featuring discussions of U.S. foreign policy, will continue virtually this fall after being cut short in the spring. Four programs will be offered by Zoom on consecutive Fridays beginning Oct. 2. It is not necessary to sign up in advance for the programs. You only need to use the link to the Zoom Waiting Room and check-in before the program by following the link and the instructions.  You can enter the waiting room up to ½ hour before each program is scheduled to begin. Here is the fall schedule:

Noon Oct. 2 – India and Pakistan: Is Peace Possible? – Presenter: Irfan Nooruddin, Ph.D., Professor, Walsh School of Foreign Service, and Director, India Initiative, Georgetown University; Director, South Asia Center, Atlantic Council of the U.S. (Dr. Nooruddin is also an OWU graduate.)

Noon Oct. 9 – Climate Change and the Global Order – Presenter: Erinn Nicley, Ph.D., Course Faculty, Political Science Department, Western Governors University.

2 p.m. Oct. 16 – China’s Road into Latin America – Presenter: Ji Young Choi, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Politics and Government. Director, East Asian Studies, Ohio Wesleyan University. 

Noon October 23 – The Philippines and the United States – Presenter: James Franklin, Ph.D., Professor and Chair, Politics and Government, Ohio Wesleyan University
