Pete Turner

Peter Turner was born in Albany, New York in 1934. By the age of fourteen he was exploring photography and developing his own color photos. He graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and after serving in the army, took photography assignments from numerous magazines and Hollywood movie sets. Though many photographers of the time enjoyed black and white photography, Turner preferred to use color in new and different ways. Compositionally, his landscapes often used of geometric shape and unusual perspectives.
