Deliliah Montoya is a feminist, Chicana artist and Associate Professor of Latin American and Chicano Art History at the University of New Mexico. Her practice explores a Mestiza--or mixed race--experience of the Southwest and borderlands, especially focusing on the amalgamation of Chicana and Mexicana cultural identities.
