Dr. Walter Willett, Frederick John Stare Professor of Epidemiology and Nutrition and Chair of the Department of Nutrition at the Harvard School of Public Health will be speaking on the OWU campus as a part of the Bite! series on November 6th at 7pm in the Benes Rooms of the Hamilton Williams Campus Center. Willett was recently quoted in an AP story about hearings regarding the ban of large sized sugary drinks in New York City. Willett said that “soda in large amounts is metabolically toxic” and that “it’s obvious this is the right thing to do.”
