Shellenberger &amp; T. Nordhaus<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The definition of what is environmental needs expansion. CAFE reminds me of the Volkswagen scandal. I\u2019ve never heard of the New Apollo Project, so it probably wasn\u2019t super successful, but since it\u2019s mentioned in the reading, there are at least take-aways to get from it. Coalition building is cool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 2: <\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thwink.org\/sustain\/glossary\/Sustainability.htm\"><b>Sustainability<\/b><\/a><b> Thwink.org<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Definitions of sustainability in a comparative sense. I hadn\u2019t thought of it in a pillared manner before, but I\u2019m down for the environmental, economic, and social.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 3: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/sustainability.owu.edu\/?page_id=196\"><b>OWU Sustainability Plan<\/b><\/a><b> (2017)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Goals Reached:More grassroots work! More collaboration!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Goals not Reached: Not as many quantifiable goals. Future edits have more potentially.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 4:<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/cnx.org\/contents\/F0Hv_Zza@45.1:HdWd2hN5@2\/Foreword\"><b><i>Sustainability: A Comprehensive Foundation<\/i><\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sustainability really means to uphold. This definition and analysis is a foundation for ensuring human existence in the near and distant future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 5: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/sustainability-workblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/60\/2018\/01\/Scrappy_Sustainability_Howald_Krygier_2017.pdf\"><b>&#8220;&#8216;Scrappy&#8217; Sustainability at Ohio Wesleyan University,&#8221;<\/b><\/a><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wow #theoryintopractice am I right? It is a great look at how to further sustainability with a lack of funding but sense of scrappiness in making it happen. I knew Emily just a little bit, so it was cool to read this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 6: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/environmentalgeography.wordpress.com\/projects\/\"><b>Geography 360 Environmental Geography Projects<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ah geography 360. It was good to read what projects are in motion, which ones have been achieved and which ones flopped. I hope we have a lot more successful ones in the future!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 7: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/owusustainabilityspecialreport.wordpress.com\/\"><b>Special Report: OWU Sustainability.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An interesting read on how sustainability has changed in recent years. Cool interviews and familiar faces in the professors and administrators.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 8:<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/greenowu.wordpress.com\/\"><b>Recommendations of the President&#8217;s Task Force on Sustainability&#8211; Spring, 2009 &amp; Supplemental Web Material<\/b><\/a><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Just how many wordpress blogs have you made? Glad to see that there has been consistent interest in promoting sustainability on campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 9: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/krygier.owu.edu\/sustainabilityregion\/NSF_TUES_Grant.pdf\"><b>Sustainability Region NSF Grant Proposal<\/b><\/a><b> and <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/krygier.owu.edu\/temp\/sustainabilityregion_tabloid.pdf\"><b>Map\/Poster<\/b><\/a><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I\u2019ve seen these maps in the classroom, and now I know where they came from! Hopefully these individual pieces can still come together, even if they are funded or achieved in different manners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 10: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pca.state.mn.us\/sites\/default\/files\/p-ee1-01.pdf\"><b>The Psychology of Sustainable Behavior<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A bit of a longer reading, but a great how-to on sustainable behaviors and continued interest for the self and for others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 11: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronicle.com\/article\/Against-Environmental-Panic\/139733\"><b>&#8220;Against Environmental Panic.&#8221;<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bruckner is a little harsh, but man his prose is beautiful. It can be very entertaining\/infuriating to get a view like this on environmentalism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 12: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/environmentalgeography.files.wordpress.com\/2019\/12\/burning_planet.pdf\"><b>&#8220;How the Rich Plan to Rule a Burning Planet<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is something I feel like isn\u2019t talked about enough. Climate change and pollution affects economic classes differently, especially in the midst of crises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reading 13: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/presentation\/d\/1OjyD3qyNNq1dHtOgVko33eihqtKpY-GIquwxT4HJK5Y\/edit#slide=id.p\"><b>Scrappy Sustainability &#8212; Fall 2019<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wow look at OWU go! Would a sustainability coordinator even help us out that much?
