For students in band, choir, and orchestra (6th – 12th grade)<\/strong><\/p>\n

2026 Day Camper (cost-$425)<\/strong>
\nMonday, June 8\u00a0 – Friday, June 12. Includes expert instruction in a large ensemble and two elective activities, camp t-shirt, Grand Finale Concert for all ensembles featuring live stream video, and “all you can eat” lunch in the buffet-style OWU dining hall (entirely nut free, with additional menu options for vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free).<\/p>\n

2026 Overnight Camper (cost-$875)<\/strong>
\nSunday, June 7 – Friday, June 12. Includes all day camp opportunities above, plus three meals per day in the OWU Dining Hall (Monday breakfast – Friday lunch), evening snacks, organized evening activities, and lodging in OWU’s air-conditioned Smith Hall dormitory. Evening activities include rec games, down time, Strand Theater movies, and an epic camp closing talent show!<\/p>\n

Before completing the camp application, we recommend a review of the descriptions and expectations for all ensemble and elective activities in the Ensembles & Electives<\/a>\u00a0section of the camp website. Providing a camp experience tailored to your child’s music interests takes a little extra study time, but it’s totally worth it.<\/p>\n

Only a parent or guardian may complete this form. However, it will be helpful to have your child with you to indicate their preferences. This application takes at about 5-10 minutes to complete.<\/p>\n

READ FIRST BEFORE STARTING AN APPLICATION!<\/strong>
\n1. Have the full name and email of your child\u2019s band, choir, or orchestra director. Shortly after you complete the application, the music teacher will be invited to serve as a reference for your child at music camp.
\n2. Review the “Ensembles & Electives” section of the OWU SMC website and keep it open to guide your ensemble\/elective choices.
\n3.\u00a0Review the Behavior Expectations, Anti-Bullying Policy<\/a>, and Payment Obligations.
\n4. Be prepared to describe any medical, dietary, or special needs your child has.<\/p>\n

If you realize after submitting an application that you entered information incorrectly, you may edit your response by clicking the \u201cEdit Response\u201d option in your confirmation email.<\/p>\n

Detailed instructions\u00a0for overnight campers will arrive during the first week of June.\u00a0Overnight campers will be placed in double, triple, or quad rooms with students of similar age and gender. If you would like to request a room with another camper, please write their name(s) here. If you have specific questions\/concerns about rooming, please indicate this in the final question of the form.<\/p>\n

Finally, we wish we could offer a spot to everyone who applies, but if an enrollment cap is already met for a requested ensemble, applicants will be placed on a wait list in chronological order. Some small elective ensembles may have additional requirements too (prior experience, or pre-audition). An acceptance or waitlist email will arrive within 3 weeks of your application with further instructions about the activities and ensembles you’ve selected.<\/p>\n
