{"id":3598,"date":"2026-04-30T00:26:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T04:26:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/seniorsatowu\/?p=3598"},"modified":"2026-04-30T00:26:42","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T04:26:42","slug":"dont-lose-your-data","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/seniorsatowu\/dont-lose-your-data\/","title":{"rendered":"DON\u2019T LOSE YOUR DATA!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When you graduate from OWU, you have the opportunity to convert your BishopApps (Google Workspace) account to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/helpdesk.owu.edu\/topics\/11033\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Email-for-Life<\/a>, which&nbsp;<em>preserves all of your data<\/em>.&nbsp;<strong>If you&nbsp;<em>don\u2019t<\/em>&nbsp;do this, ALL of your data may be permanently DELETED.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That includes all your BishopMail, Contacts, Calendar entries, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites, all files stored in Drive, YouTube videos, and any other content in Google services associated with your OWU account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>After<\/em>&nbsp;your enrollment status changes to alumni you may convert your account to Email-for-Life&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/admin.owu.edu\/cgi-bin\/accounts\/AlumAcct.cgi\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.
