Barbara Kasten is an American multi-media artist, who turned to photography to encompass her interdisciplinary work in the 1970’s. Kasten often uses tinted filters and gels in photographs of architectural and natural scenes to heighten aesthetic impact. Cibachrome, a photographic print process, enhances the strong color saturation of these images.
