You can play an important role by encouraging your student to prepare by <b>meeting with their faculty advisor<\/b>\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>guidance<\/strong>\u00a0on course selection and to get\u00a0<strong>authorized to register<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The official registration window opens based on the number of OWU units your student has completed (not those in progress):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Seniors<\/b> (23+ units completed): Opened Monday, October 26, 2026<\/li>\n<li><b>Juniors<\/b> (15-22.99 units completed): Opens Monday, November 2, 2026<\/li>\n<li><b>Sophomores<\/b> (7-14.99 units completed): Opens Monday, November 9, 2026<\/li>\n<li><b>Freshmen<\/b> (0-6.99 units completed): Opens Monday, November 16, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Three Ways to Help Your Student Prepare<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To ensure a smooth registration experience, you might ask your student if they have completed these essential steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Meet with their Faculty Advisor:<\/strong>\u00a0This is the most critical step.
