You can play a vital role in helping your student stay on track by encouraging them to prepare early.\u00a0While course schedules are visible on Self-Service as of February 26, the registration process moves in stages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pre-Registration<\/strong>\u00a0opens on\u00a0<strong>Wednesday, March 4.\u00a0<\/strong>(Students can begin adding courses to their online carts.)<\/li>\n<li>Registration windows open based on\u00a0<strong>completed<\/strong>\u00a0OWU units (this does\u00a0not\u00a0include units currently in progress):\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Senior Registration (23+ units completed):<\/strong>\u00a0Opens Monday, March 23 at 7am<\/li>\n<li><strong>Junior Registration (15\u201322.99 units completed):<\/strong>\u00a0Opens Monday, March 30 at 7am<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sophomore Registration (7\u201314.99 units completed):<\/strong>\u00a0Opens Monday, April 6 at 7am<\/li>\n<li><strong>Freshman Registration (0\u20136.99 units completed):<\/strong>\u00a0Opens Monday, April 13 at 7am<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Three Ways to Help Your Student Prepare<\/strong>\u00a0To ensure a smooth registration experience, you might ask your student if they have completed these essential steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Meet with their Faculty Advisor:<\/strong>\u00a0This is the most critical step.
