Especially during cold winter months, our mood, energy, and motivation can take a dip. We can even experience a condition called seasonal affective disorder, in which symptoms are recurrent, persistent, and negatively impact our functioning. While less common, it can even occur during the spring and summer. Knowing how you react to seasonal changes can help you make proactive adjustments to your routine, coping mechanisms, and self-care.
