By the numbers, the OWU community showed up in big ways throughout the Conference day:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">1,800 check-ins, breaking last year\u2019s total by over a hundred participants.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">13 academic departments participated as moderators and presenters.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">50 faculty and staff members served as moderators and hosts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">40 community service partners joined the Community Service Fair.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">41 OWU student scientists presented their research through poster presentations to hundreds of guests.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Representatives from AEP and Choose Ohio First met with Choose Ohio First scholarship recipients presenting throughout the Conference.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The OWU Admission team guided 30 prospective students around the conference, highlighting the dynamic opportunities only found at OWU.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Save the Date!\u00a0 The spring Connection Conference will be held on February 29!\u00a0 Your student will have the opportunity to meet with their academic advisor, attend the Internship &amp; Summer Job fair, and more!<\/p>\n<p><strong>OWU Sponsoring Organization\/Office:<\/strong>\u00a0OWU Connection<br \/>\n<strong>Contact:<\/strong>\u00a0Jill Hayes at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:connect@owu.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">connect@owu.edu<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0OWU Connection Conference\u00a0was a hit!
