Henry St., Delaware.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.owu.edu\/bishop-backers\">Bishop Backers<\/a><\/strong> kicks off the new school year each fall with its Community Day celebration. The event includes free admission to the day\u2019s OWU athletics events, free pre-game tailgate, and fun activities.<\/p>\n<p>The tailgate will begin at 11 a.m. at Selby Stadium, with Delaware police officers and firefighters and Ohio Wesleyan Public Safety officers grilling up free hotdogs and hamburgers for the community. (Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be available.)<\/p>\n<p>At noon, the Battling Bishops football team will take on the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Falcons in OWU\u2019s first home game of the 2023-2024 season.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Fall Community Day festivities, Ohio Wesleyan will set up cornhole and other yard games for guests to enjoy.
