News for OWU Families<\/strong> is a digest of communications sent to parents and families of current Ohio Wesleyan students. It is also available at owu.edu\/newsforfamilies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These monthly messages<\/strong> will be sent to parents and families of current students the first week of every month unless otherwise stated in the below calendar. Please submit posts on the Friday before each monthly issue.<\/p>\n

\nSeptember 3, 2025 – Aug. 29 deadline
\nOctober 1, 2025 – Sept. 26 deadline
\nNovember 5, 2025 – Oct. 31 deadline
\nDecember 3, 2025 – Nov. 19 deadline (Early deadline on Wed.)
\n<\/em>January 14, 2026 – Jan. 9 deadline
\nFebruary 4, 2026 – Jan. 30 deadline
\nMarch 4, 2026 – Feb. 27 deadline
\nApril 1, 2026 – Mar. 27 deadline (Commencement News Section)<\/em>
\nMay 6, 2026 – May 1 deadline (Commencement News Section)<\/em>
\nJune 3, 2026 – May 29 deadline<\/p>\n

All posts should be submitted by an OWU faculty or staff member or a current student submitting on behalf of a University office. Content should be appropriate for all families of current students.<\/p>\n

Your submitted posts will require a category, and please only select one:<\/p>\n

Campus Life & Academics:<\/strong> Student success stories, faculty news and updates, campus news, opportunities for student engagement, deadlines, and reminders, as well as any news vital to student life, financials, and academics.
\nParent & Family Engagement:<\/strong> On-campus and off-campus events open to parents and families, virtual sessions, plus ways to give and volunteer.
\nOWU Resources:<\/strong> Quick help\/”how-tos,” web links, campus improvements\/upgrades, and general updates to student and family resources.<\/p>\n

Note: Every email will contain static links to: owu.edu, battlingbishops.com, OWU directory, academic calendar, events calendar, Parents & Family website, Connect2 OWU archive, OWU Magazine, and OWU Bookstore.<\/em><\/p>\n
