As your family makes plans for Thanksgiving Break, please remind your student to register if they need to stay on campus during any part of the break. Unlike Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break requires advance registration.
Students must complete the registration form by Wednesday, November 18, at 11:59 p.m. if they plan to:
- Stay on campus for the entire break.
- Leave after the residence halls close on November 21 at noon.
- Return before the residence halls reopen on November 29 at 9 a.m.
Students staying for athletics or a university trip must also register individually; they are not automatically registered through their team or group.
Registration helps us know which students are on campus in case of an emergency and arrange residence hall card access for their stay. There is no charge to stay on campus during Thanksgiving Break, but a $25 late registration fee applies after the deadline.
