Student Accounts Payment Information

Dear OWU Families:

I write to share important information that will affect students who plan to use payment plan options this fall or who have outstanding balances of $100 or more and who are not enrolled in a payment plan before August 1, 2025.

Student account statements for Fall 2025 will be emailed July 1, 2025, and must be paid in full by August 1, unless students are enrolled in a payment plan. (Ohio Wesleyan offers three payment plans as outlined on our Student Accounts Payment Plan Options webpage. The fee to enroll in a payment plan is $40 per semester, due at the time of enrollment.)

New this fall, students who choose the 2-payment or 3-payment plan options will be required to make down payments at the time of enrollment. The 2-payment plan will require a 50% down payment of the total bill, and the 3-payment plan option will require a 25% down payment.

The 4-payment plan option allows students to pay their bills in four equal payments between July and October with no down payment required. The deadline to register for the 4-payment plan is July 24. See our webpage for additional payment plan enrollment information.

In addition, please remember that students with outstanding balances greater than $100 after August 1, 2025, and who are not enrolled in a payment plan will be assessed a 1% late fee monthly.
