OWU students, families, alumni, and friends will soon have access to a new virtual career center offered by Career Connection! This platform is set to launch when students return from Spring break on March 19th.
Through this platform, individuals can easily find and cultivate the information that is most relevant to them. Pages are designed based on Career Community (e.g., Humanities & The Arts, STEM), affinity group affiliation (e.g., first gen, international, athlete, BIPOC), career area of need (e.g., resume help, interview assistance), and population (e.g., Alumni, faculty, employer).
Opportunities through our job platform will be made visible on the website so that families and individuals who do not have access to the Handshake job portal can see opportunities available! It will be easier than ever to locate relevant resources, Alumni, and tools to help with career goals.
This platform will replace our current website, and you can visit http://careers.owu.edu in mid-March to access the new Virtual Career Center!
