The newly-created Bishop Elevate office is dedicated to empowering the success of our first-generation college students. This office serves as a hub of support, resources, and programming specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of first-generation students. We encourage you to play an active role in supporting your first-generation student’s success by encouraging them to participate in First-Gen OWU events throughout the year. These events provide valuable opportunities to build a close-knit community with peers who share similar experiences, fostering a sense of belonging that can positively impact their college experience.
