The Real Life 101 program, sponsored by Career Connection, is designed for seniors and offers an opportunity to partner with a Professional Mentor and Career Coach to prepare for life after graduation. It is held during the Spring semester. The goal of Real Life 101 is to equip 2027 grads with exceptional skills and tools, Alumni connections, and greater confidence as they step into their post-OWU lives. In addition to working with an Alumni Mentor, students can take workshops on relevant topics, such as finding jobs and opportunities post-graduation, coping with life changes after graduating, and managing personal finances. Information sessions for this program are in January 2027. Encourage your senior to email Mindy Agin in Career Connection for more information and to get on the program email list.

Student Testimonials
- “I think this is SO necessary for seniors. All we prepare for is graduation and not what comes after. I cannot recommend this program enough and I thank Career Connection for making this program. It shows they really care about us.”
- “Life after college is scary. Completing a fast and straightforward program like this one is a small task in comparison to what we will be facing after we graduate. It is helpful and sets us up for success.”
- “I will recommend it to anyone because everything required is things we have to do or will do before/after we graduate. Why not do it now and with the help and support of Career Connection?”
