Parents, if your OWU student is looking to land a job, explore grad school, or just test the waters, the annual OWU Career & Grad School Fair on Thursday, September 17th is the biggest event of the year. 80+ employers and grad schools are registered to attend!
Here is how the Career Connection team is setting up students for total success:
- Before (Sept. 15 & 16): All-day drop-ins in Slocum 207 for free resume reviews, resume printing, and last-minute pep talks. (Employers strongly recommend bringing printed resumes!)
- During the Fair: Career Ambassadors will be on-site at check-in and floating around the room to give students extra confidence and guidance.
- After the Fair: Ongoing support for interview prep, employer follow-ups, and long-term planning. Students can schedule on Handshake here.
Student registration is encouraged on Handshake, but walk-ins are always welcome. A quick text encouraging your student to drop by Slocum 207 next week might be the push they need to kickstart their future!
