OWU Near You returns this September, and the Bishop community is already gearing up! From bustling metropolises to quiet hometowns, this special week is all about bringing OWU Bishops together for easy, casual gatherings. Our volunteer hosts (alumni, parents/families) organize low-stress get-togethers at local favorites—think coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, or neighborhood parks. There’s no fuss or formality; it’s simply a chance to reconnect with old friends or meet fellow Bishops living right in your area. A growing list of confirmed locations and hosts for Fall 2026 can be found here. We’ll be adding more locations, so check back often! Registration for all events opens in early July 2026.
Don’t See Your City Listed? We are always looking for more hosts to help us expand our reach. Our alumni and friends have asked for more casual, unique ways to connect, and this program is our answer.
