Student Health Center Update

Ohio Wesleyan is now partnering with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for the management of our Health Center. We look forward to working with the group this year and are excited about the support and opportunities that will be available to our students. For additional details about this transition, please visit our FAQ page.

The new Health Center team includes:

Amy Ehrlich, Program Director
Cassie Fudge, LPN
Sydney McNichols, RN
Patricia Ryan, MD
Jessica Schumacher, NP

Hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, including Fridays. Students can call 740-368-3160 to schedule an appointment. After their first appointment, they will receive an activation code that will allow them to register for Ohio State’s MyChart — a free and secure online portal that allows them to manage their health care anytime, anywhere.

Students can use MyChart to exchange messages with their providers, request appointments, renew prescriptions, check their test results, and much more. Students can link an existing MyChart to their new Wexner Medical Center MyChart by going to the “Link My Accounts” page in their MyChart account. Learn more about what you can do with MyChart.

When the Student Health Center reopens fall semester, it will begin billing health insurance for office visits. In recent years, students have been billed only for resources provided outside the clinic, such as X-rays or off-campus laboratory tests.
