First Friday in Downtown Delaware is Hot Hot HOT!

The Ohio Wesleyan community is invited to visit downtown Delaware for First Friday parties, weekly farmers’ markets, and other events! Delaware is a national Main Street community, and Main Street Delaware helps to celebrate the city with a long list of fun, family-friendly happenings.
From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Friday, October 6, the community continues First Friday events with “Feelin’ Hot Hot HOT!—celebrating Fire Prevention & Hispanic Heritage Month!
Every Saturday through Oct. 28, Main Street Delaware hosts a Farmers’ Market from 9 a.m. to noon on South Sandusky Street. The markets feature locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, and more, based on what’s in season.
In December, everyone’s invited to a three-day Home for the Holidays celebration that includes a downtown tree lighting and parade.
We hope to see everyone downtown! We’re sure you will enjoy all of the retail shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and other locations that make the city a popular community and tourist destination.
