As a new student, here\u2019s how you\u2019ll be enrolled in your Fall classes (and how you can work with an advisor afterward for any questions or adjustments).<\/p>\n

  1. Complete the\u00a0<\/b>New Student Registration Course<\/b><\/a>.<\/b> This self-paced, online course is located in OWU\u2019s learning management system, Blackboard. Log in using your OWU username and password. Be sure to expand each section for all of the details and to take the relevant placement tests.<\/li>\n
  2. Later in the summer, the advising team will work behind the scenes to enroll you in an initial set of Fall classes based on course availability and your answers to the\u00a0Pre-Registration Survey<\/b>. The survey is located in the\u00a0New Student Registration Course<\/a>\u00a0and is\u00a0DUE June 15<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  3. On July 9<\/b>, look for an\u00a0email titled \u201c<\/b>Your Fall OWU Class Schedule.\u201d<\/b>\u00a0This email will explain how to view the classes you’ve been pre-registered for. It will also share ways to connect with an advising team member to discuss or adjust your schedule.\u00a0Advising appointments and drop-in\u00a0advising will be available from mid-July through mid-August.<\/b><\/b><\/li>\n
  4. The Office of Holistic Advising is here for you until\u2013and after\u2013your advisor is assigned in mid-August.\u00a0Ask your advising questions by contacting the advising team at\u00a0<\/b><\/b>academicadvising@owu.edu<\/a><\/b>.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
