How to Add the <\/b>OWU Academic Calendar<\/i><\/b> to Your Google Calendar<\/b>

  1. On your computer, go to <\/span>calendar.google.com<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n
  2. In the \u201cOther calendars\u201d section, click <\/span>+\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
  3. Select \u201c<\/span>Subscribe to calendar<\/b>\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Copy and paste the following link into the box:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Press Enter or Return<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. The calendar will appear on the left side under \u201cOther calendars\u201d as \u201cAcademic Calendar \u2013 OWU.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n

      You can also add course deadlines from Blackboard into Google Calendar.<\/span><\/p>\n

      How to Add Your <\/b>Blackboard Calendar <\/i><\/b>to Your Google Calendar<\/b><\/p>\n

      1. On your computer, go to <\/span>bb.owu.edu<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n
      2. Go to the \u201c<\/span>Calendar<\/span><\/a>\u201d section of the lefthand navigation<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Click the gear icon in the upper right to access \u201cCalendar Settings\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Click the three dots<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. Select \u201cShare calendar\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
      6. Copy the link<\/span><\/li>\n
      7. Add the calendar into Google Calendar<\/span>\n

        1. On your computer, go to <\/span>calendar.google.com<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n
        2. In the \u201cOther calendars\u201d section, click<\/span> +\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
        3. Select \u201c<\/span>From URL<\/b>\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
        4. Copy and paste the link you copied from blackboard into the box\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        5. Press Enter or Return<\/span><\/li>\n
        6. The calendar will appear on the left side under \u201cOther calendars\u201d as \u201cOhio Wesleyan University.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        7. To rename the calendar, hover over the name of the calendar and click the three vertical dots that appear<\/span><\/li>\n
        8. Select \u201cSettings\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
        9. In the \u201cName\u201d box, add a name such as Blackboard<\/span><\/li>\n
        10. As syncing may not always be perfect, be sure to consult your syllabi and Blackboard itself regularly<\/span><\/li>\n
