There is still time to have a better experience and pass!\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Withdrawal Processes<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>To Withdraw, use the \u201c<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/ohiowesleyan.topdesk.net\/tas\/public\/ssp\/content\/detail\/knowledgeitem?unid=57f0728addc24020a4c1ed50cf19bc2e\"><b>Change of Schedule<\/b><\/a><b>\u201d form<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> located at <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/forms.owu.edu\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">forms.owu.edu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. It is helpful to give the instructor and your advisor a heads up.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Withdrawing from a course places a \u201cW\u201d on your transcript but does not impact GPA.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Although your GPA is protected with a Withdraw, you may make academic progress more slowly because a Withdrawn class does not count toward graduation units. Talk with your advisor about future coursetaking plans.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Drop deadline for full-semester classes has already passed. A Drop is different from Withdraw because a Drop removes the course from your transcript as if you\u2019d never taken it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Withdrawal Deadlines<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Full-semester classes: <\/span><b>Tuesday, April 1, 2025<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Second-module classes (aka, those that meet only for the second half of the semester): <\/span><b>Thursday, April 10, 2025<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Withdrawing from a course is an option when you are certain you are no longer in a position to pass.
