This is a MUST READ for important Student Mailroom and Package information for all students and families who send or receive mailed items.
Mailing: The student mail/packages address is Student Name, OWU HWCC Box#, 40 Rowland Ave., Delaware, OH 43015
Do not use the University address (61 S. Sandusky St.) or housing address, as this will delay the processing of your item.
Receiving Mail/Packages: Incoming first-year student packages will begin being processed on August 5, 2024. When you have a package processed you will receive an email from Mailroom Central Receiving for each package received. Please do not discard these emails until you have picked up your items. Also, you will not be able to reply to these emails. Each email will contain a tracking number for the package, and you’ll provide the mailroom staff with this information. (Note: the tracking number begins with “OWU” followed by a number.)
When you pick up your package, you must show your student ID, a photo of your student ID, or another form of photo ID. If you cannot pick up the item, you may FORWARD the email to mailroom@owu.edu and provide us with the name of the person who will be picking it up for you (this person must also have a photo ID).
August’s Student Mailroom hours are: Aug. 5-14 from 1:30-3 p.m., Aug. 15 from 12:30-3 p.m. On Aug. 16, normal hours will resume, 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
