Mark your calendars for August 16-20! Camp Oh-Wooo is the mandatory fall orientation experience for all new students. During the camp, you will build friendships with other new students, connect with great student leaders, and get to know supportive faculty and staff. While each of the three camps (Challenge, Service, Wilderness) offers a unique experience, all of them will focus on learning the traditions of OWU, building new friendships, reflecting on the transition into college, and building the skills and relationships necessary to thrive at OWU. New students will get to note their camp location preferences as part of the virtual summer orientation course that will be available on June 1. We make every attempt to try to place students in one of their top two choices. In early August, you will receive an email with your camp location. All new students will participate in Camp on August 16-18, except for NCAA fall athletes participating in cross-country, field hockey, football, soccer, and volleyball (due to pre-season sports schedules). However, coaches incorporate elements of Camp into the athletic experience for new student-athletes. All students will have programming on campus on August 19 and 20.
