Hello New Students! We are excited to welcome you to campus and OWU! There will be a number of events for you to attend on Thursday, August 17. The schedule is below, but we want to highlight OWU traditions you will not want to miss! Families are invited and encouraged to attend the events below.
Bishop Welcome: Program begins promptly @ 3:30pm in the Branch Rickey Arena This is the first time the entire incoming class will be together. You will not want to miss this.
Class Photo: Immediately following the Bishop Welcome (we will get you to the spot for the photo as a large group)
Convocation: 4:00pm on the Rock Quad (again, we will head there as a large group after the class photo)
First Lap and The Rock: Immediately following Convocation. This is one of only two times (the other being graduation) where you and your class will partake in these OWU traditions together that start your journey at OWU. The entire schedule for Thursday, Aug. 17, can be found HERE.
