Camp Oh-Wooo is our mandatory/AMAZING & FUN fall orientation program for all new students that helps connect you to other new students and OWU*! More information about Camp Oh-Wooo can be found online, and in the online new student summer orientation course you will complete by July 1.
You need to complete the Camp Oh-Wooo Track Preference Selection form by July 1, 2024. IMPORTANT: Please complete the form using your OWU email address **All new students are required to complete the form**. There is logic built into the form that will change the questions based on your student type (ex., NCAA fall athlete, transfer student, international student, etc.). The form is also in the online New Student Orientation Course. You only need to complete the form once, so if you complete the form before taking the course and try to click on the form to complete it as part of the course, it will show that you already submitted it.
We do our best to place students into one of their top two camp track preferences. Please note that space is limited in each camp. If more students indicate a camp preference than what we have space to accommodate, we will run a randomizer to place students. It is important to note that once a camp placement has been made, it is not possible to switch camp locations due to space limitations, logistics, and timing of placements. Students will be notified of their Camp Oh-Wooo camp track placement on or before August 1, 2024, via their OWU email address.
*If you are a fall athlete in an NCAA-sanctioned sport (cross-country, field hockey, football, soccer, volleyball), then you will not be a part of a Camp Oh-Wooo track due to your fall sports schedule. You will instead participate in your team’s welcome program. You still need to complete the Camp Oh-Wooo Track Preference Selection form above to indicate that you are an NCAA fall athlete. Student-athletes still need to participate in the on-campus new student orientation schedule on Monday, August 19, and Tuesday, August 20.
