Q: How do I view my schedule?
A: Log in to Self-Service. Your username will be the first portion of your email address (without the @owu.edu). Click Registration -> My Schedule to see your schedule.
Q: Who is my advisor?
A: Your faculty advisor will be assigned in mid-August. All students will meet with their advisors Monday, August 24. Until then, the OWU summer advising team advises incoming students (academicadvising@owu.edu).
Q: How do I change my schedule based on credit I have received (transfer, CCP, AP, etc.)?
A: Contact academicadvising@owu.edu or meet with a Faculty Registration Guide (FRG). Be sure to send any official test scores or college transcripts (including CCP) to OWU to have credit applied to your degree.
Q: Why does it say my major is undecided?
A: Every incoming student’s major is listed as “Undecided/Undeclared” during the summer. If you indicated a major on the Pre-Registration Survey, we took that into account for your Fall schedule. When you’re ready, you can fill out an online form to choose a major as soon as classes start. You have until the end of your Sophomore year to declare a major–and, yes, it’s okay to change your mind.
