The Department of Environment & Sustainability (ENVS) at OWU has majors in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, and Geography. If you are even a bit interested in these majors, consider taking two introductory courses in the fall: ENVS 110 Intro. to Environment & Sustainability (1 unit) and ENVS 111 Introduction to Earth Science (1 unit). If either is full, please contact Dr. Nathan Rowley (nrowley@owu.edu). Importantly, consider taking ENVS 198: Conversations Towards a Sustainable Future (0.25 units): this course meets once a week for an hour, discussing the environment, internships, research, and careers… and meets with graduating seniors who serve as mentors.
