OWU Self-Service is our official academic system, where you’ll go to register for classes, check your class schedule, and view your midterm and final grades. Your professors use it to view their class lists and submit grades, while your advisor will use it to approve your course loads. It also provides links to other services, such as textbook lookup, shared access for family members, student account balances, and financial aid.
Your OWU username is the first part of your email address. So Janice E. Public, with email address jepublic@owu.edu, their username is jepublic. That’s all you need to enter to sign into Self-Service–not your full email address.
If you’re entering your correct OWU username and password and it just brings you back to the sign-in prompt with no error, you likely need to clear cookies and site data in your browser. We have instructions for doing this in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
