Students may use any available 3rd-floor practice room or the choir room on the 3rd floor to warm up before their audition. Live auditions with OWU music staff will be held on the morning of the music festival (Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, 8:30 &#8211; 9:30 AM in Sanborn Hall) for HS Honor Band members only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Honor Band Festival website (owu.edu\/HonorBandFestival) and music teachers are the primary point of contact for all festival communication and information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>January 6, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parents and Guardians: verify your child\u2019s participation by completing the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/musicfestival\/payment-forms\/\"><strong>confirmation<\/strong><strong> form<\/strong><\/a> for t-shirt size, media permission, any medical needs, and an optional extra lunch order on Saturday. Failure to complete the confirmation form by this date may cause a student to lose their spot in the festival.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>January 12, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.owu.edu\/musicfestival\/payment-forms\/\"><strong>All fees due by Monday, 1\/12\/26<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(online payment or postmarked check must be sent by this date). If fees are covered by the school or booster organization, parents may indicate this on the confirmation form.
