Jacob Heil, Mellon Digital Scholar for the Five Colleges of Ohio, was named one of 2016’s Movers & Shakers by Library Journal. Here at OWU, Heil has worked with faculty and students on a variety of digital humanities projects in geography, religion, chemistry, and more.
In February, Dr. Paul Dilley from the University of Iowa gave a lecture entitled Between Alexandria and Babel: Building and Exploring Digital Libraries to the OWU community. Read Dr. Jacob Heil’s summary of the lecture to learn more about DH (aka Digital Humanities). Jacob is Mellon Digital Scholar for the Five Colleges of Ohio.
