CONSORT will be unavailable for approximately 4-6 hours beginning at 11am on Wednesday, August 7th due to required maintenance. During this time, you can search the collection through the OhioLINK catalog by limiting the Location to “CONSORT Colleges”. However, you will not be able to request items from other CONSORT or OhioLINK schools during this time.
Also, access to research databases from off-campus will be unavailable during this time. Our most popular databases will be available from on campus only, and many more are available through OhioLINK.
If you have any questions or concerns during this time, please contact the reference desk at firstname.lastname@example.org.

We’ve launched a new website at http://library.owu.edu.
Earlier this year, we conducted a survey of students, faculty, and staff to better understand the kinds of content and services that are most important to our campus community. We also conducted interviews with students from a variety of years and majors to learn how they perceived the library’s website, how they used it, and how the site could be improved. The design of the new site has been heavily informed by this feedback.
One of the biggest changes you’ll find is the introduction of an “All” search box which allows users to search CONSORT, the majority of the libraries’ research databases, and several unique local collections from one place using the Summon discovery service. CONSORT is still accessible directly from the Books & Media search box.
As in most website makeovers, there are bound to be those who experience the “Who moved my cheese?!” moments when something isn’t in the same place it’s always been. We’ve done our best to ensure that the most used and most important services are easy to find, and we welcome your continued suggestions and feedback on how the new site can be more useful, usable, and easier to navigate.
Again, we encourage you to explore the new site and send any comments, questions, or suggestions to Ben Daigle, Discovery Services Librarian, at email@example.com.
The OWU Libraries are excited to announce the launch of a new website on Monday, July 8th. The new site features a more contemporary look and feel and has been designed based on survey feedback and interviews with students and faculty to ensure the most important tools and services are discoverable and accessible quickly.
