Solar is now \u2018cheapest electricity in history\u2019, confirms IEA:\u00a0<\/a><\/h2>\n

The world\u2019s best solar power schemes now offer the \u201ccheapest\u2026electricity in history\u201d with the technology cheaper than coal and gas in most major countries.<\/p>\n

That is according to the International Energy Agency\u2019s World Energy Outlook 2020<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Business Roundtable, a major trade association that includes the heads of some of the largest and most influential companies in the U.S. as members, is endorsing a “market-based mechanism” as part of a plan to sharply curb greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change,<\/p>\n
