The Rocky Mountains,<\/span><\/p>\n

You are gripping in the way your flowers taste
\n<\/span>and your wind hits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Your lush forests obtain a darkness
\n<\/span>that can only be tamed by the melting sun.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You are haunting as the whispers from the trees
\n<\/span>\u00a0transcend to a birds song.<\/span><\/p>\n

They tell me you are vast and dangerous
\n<\/span>\u00a0and I believe them for I have seen your harsh nature,
\n<\/span>\u00a0but where else could my song be sung the loudest.<\/span><\/p>\n

They tell me you are isolated
\n<\/span>and I agree for I have witnessed
\n<\/span>the lonely souls that creep among you,
\n<\/span>but where else does freedom reign and reflection simmer in your blood.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your animals shriek with liveliness
\n<\/span>and my trembling heart mirrors
\n<\/span>their wild demonstrations of glory. <\/span><\/p>\n

I bathe in your crystal waters and acquire visions of your religion;
\n<\/span>ones of the mighty God of perseverance.<\/p>\n

Your mountains are the kings of planets
\n<\/span>I reside with you in all of life’s corners.<\/span><\/p>\n

Escaping to you is my destiny.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
