For those represented in books such as <i>Les Clandestins<\/i>, by Youssouf Amine Elalamy, or films such as <i>Harragas<\/i>, directed by Merzak Allouache, their voyages are shrouded in death and suffering. These two aforementioned works focus on a group of clandestine migrants who have left behind everything to immigrate to Europe, specifically Spain. Unfortunately, the migrants described in <i>Les Clandestins<\/i> never reach their destination. Likewise, the majority of the migrants portrayed in <i>Harragas<\/i> succumb to the Mediterranean and all of its hurdles. For many reasons, the route between North Africa and Europe isn\u2019t easy in the slightest. Such works as <i>Les Clandestins <\/i>and <i>Harragas<\/i>, though works of fiction, help readers and viewers broaden their understanding of, and humanize, the complex phenomena of migration and immigration.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pour les migrants qui quittent leurs pays en Afrique pour rejoindre l\u2019Europe, le processus peut \u00eatre tr\u00e8s difficile, dangereux, et intimidant. Pour ceux qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans des livres comme <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Les Clandestins<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, par Youssouf Amine Elalamy, ou le film <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Harragas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Merzak Allouache, leurs travers\u00e9es sont envelopp\u00e9es par la souffrance et la mort. Ces deux \u0153uvres susmentionn\u00e9es se focalisent sur un groupe de migrants clandestins qui laissent tout pour immigrer en Europe, particuli\u00e8rement en Espagne. Malheureusement, les migrants d\u00e9crits dans <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Les Clandestins<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> n\u2019atteindront jamais leur destination. De m\u00eame, la majorit\u00e9 des migrants repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Harragas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> succombent \u00e0 la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e et tous ses obstacles. Pour plusieurs raisons, la route entre l\u2019Afrique du Nord et l\u2019Europe n\u2019est pas facile du tout.
