<\/a>FEED is a relief service to the poor, it provides short term help to anyone in need of food. FEED runs on donations from the church and the community. The directors of FEED then get supplies from the Mid-Ohio food bank, which provides food for food pantries throughout central Ohio.<\/p>\n FEED recently partnered with Ohio Wesleyan University to start the Cooking Matters program which teaches people how to make healthier meals for less money. The goal of cooking matters is to keep people healthy so they don\u2019t have as many medical bills, while still trying to keep their grocery bill on the lower side.<\/p>\n The director of FEED, J.R. Ailes, is the assistant pastor at the Vineyard. As a police officer he had a different perspective of the homeless than he does as a volunteer now.<\/p>\n The Vineyard switched locations in late 2014 from being off of Sandusky Street to off of Troy Road near Grady Memorial Hospital. They moved to a larger location to be able to serve more people.<\/p>\n The Vineyard is part of the Hunger Alliance in Central Ohio, which aims to provide healthier food and resources to low income and homeless people.<\/p>\n FEED is just one of the many faith-based organizations that help out in the Delaware community. Every little bit of help counts when you are only a meal away from starving.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/a><\/a>
