The OWU Staff Council works to facilitate and improve communication access across campus, especially with relationships among staff, the President, and senior officers. Our goal is to recognize the outstanding contributions from staff and to promote a positive and rewarding workplace. Every employee\u2019s thoughts, concerns, and vision for a better Ohio Wesleyan guide our efforts.
\nElected by their peers, Staff Council members represent colleagues in their areas and meet regularly as a body and with the President to discuss issues, provide input, and share ideas pertinent to non-faculty employees.<\/p>\n
Staff Council is currently seeking nominations for the following positions for a 3 year team beginning Jan 1, 2021.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Academic Affairs – 3 representatives
\n\u2022 Athletics – 1 representative
\n\u2022 University Advancement – 2 representatives
\n\u2022 Student Affairs \/ Chaplains Office – 2 representatives
\n\u2022 Enrollment \/ Financial Aid – 1 representative<\/p>\n
Nominations will be accepted through the end of business on Dec 1. Voting is scheduled to take place Dec 4- 10.
